Welcome to the 1st Great Tey Scout Group. Our Group offers an active programme for 6 years upwards in Beavers, Cubs & Scouts. Everyone is welcome to come along and get involved - uniforms are not required for new members! Please get in touch via our email address to find out about joining.

We are an active and community based Group situated near to Colchester in Essex. We are part of the Colchester North Scout District, which in turn is part of the Essex Scout County.

Scouting provides fun, challenge and adventure to over 500,000 members, and all of their leaders in the United Kingdom. Every Scout Group in the UK is dependent on its volunteers, so any help that you can give us in any form would be brilliant – even if it’s just an hour a month!
